NSF Tubing

Hudson Extrusions manufactures Polypropylene and Polyethylene Tubing to NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) standards.  The NSF currently has approximately 50 voluntary American National Standards under the scope of public health and safety. These standards were developed with collaboration by industry, public health and regulatory officials, and consumer/end users and include guidelines for the manufacture of plastic tubing.

Our certified, NSF 51 /61 LLDPE Tubing is widely used in transporting air, water and chemicals. We manufacture Linear Low Density Polyethylene tubing (also known as LLDPE) from raw materials meeting FDA requirements.   For high heat applications such as boiling and sterilization, we also manufacture NSF 51 / 61 High Density Polyethylene Tubing (also known as HDPE).

Hudson Extrusions also offers Polypropylene Tubing that is manufactured to NSF standards.  Normally recommended for vacuum systems, NSF 51 Polypropylene Tubing has excellent resistance to acids and alkalies, but poor resistance to aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents.
